Jim Walsh completed his BA in Philosophy in 1999, MA in Continental Philosophy in 2000 and PhD in Art History and Theory in 2006. Since 2006, Jim has been working on his two passions, ethics and culture.
Compassionate Strangers: What happened to Wisdom? is the culmination of that work. By combining cultural references with philosophical ideas, Jim is hopeful that a new understanding of personal ethics and culture might arise which is accessible to those with little previous knowledge of philosophy or cultural studies.
